FOOT PRESSURE DISTRIBUTION AND GAIT ANALYSIS
The DIERS pedogait system enables same-time foot pressure distribution measurement
and gait/walking Analysis.
A functional representation of foot pressure reaction forces during walking is paired with camera images of the axes to provide a dynamic gait Analysis.
The treadmill includes a 1 m pedobarographic measuring platform with 5,376 sensors to precisely record the pressure values. Based on a recording frequency of 100 Hz, cycle times of 10 ms are achieved, thus avoiding incorrect measurements and artefacts. When the treadmill is stationary, the pedobarograph can be used for both the static recording of foot
pressure measurement and for stabilometry. Using this process, structural defects and foot malalignment deformities can be accurately defined and a targeted therapy applied on this basis.
